Anilla

Every box. Every year. Accounted for.

Anilla is a catalogue for collectors whose humidors are mostly Habanos. Read box codes and dates, follow how each box is ageing, see what your collection is worth today, and never lose your records again.

Free to join. iPhone and Android, released together. For collectors aged 18 and over.

What Anilla keeps for you

From box code to box age

Enter the factory code and date stamped on the box, or photograph it. Anilla records when the box was packed, keeps count of its age and suggests a window when it may be at its best. Tune that window to your own taste. To add a whole shelf, photograph it once: Anilla drafts the entries and you confirm them.

How to read a Habanos box code

2019, so the box is counted from April 2019

What it's really worth

Estimates from public auction results and current retail listings, in £, €, AED or ₺. See each box's value, how it has moved and the total for the collection. Every figure is labelled as an estimate and shows its source.

An authenticity checklist

A guided check of the box, seals, stamps, codes and band details. It flags anything that doesn't add up and records what you checked and when. A checklist, not a certificate, but the one you'd want before a purchase you care about.

Tasting notes by thirds

Separate notes for the first, second and final third: flavour, construction and an overall verdict. Notes stay attached to the box they came from, so you can see how one box changes over the years.

A protected humidor, and protected records

Connect the hygrometers you already own (Govee and SensorPush planned) and get an alert when humidity or temperature leaves your range, per humidor or per shelf. Your catalogue is encrypted, backed up automatically and synced across devices. Export everything as CSV or JSON at any time. An update will never touch your data.

English, Español, Français, Deutsch and Türkçe. Prices in your currency. Built in the UK for collectors in the UK, Europe, the Gulf and Türkiye.

A note from the founder

My cabinet has four floors. For years my only system was memory and good intentions.

I couldn't easily say how old a box was, what it was worth now, or which ones needed attention. The apps I tried were built for the US market. They knew little about Habanos box codes, priced everything in dollars, and some of them lost people's records after an update.

So I'm building the catalogue I wanted: calm, precise and yours to keep. ArveLabs is a small UK studio, and we'll build Anilla if enough collectors want it. Join the list and tell me what we'd get wrong.

Ogy, founder

Questions

When does it launch?

This waitlist decides that. If enough collectors join in the next few weeks, we build iPhone and Android together, and the waitlist gets first access to the beta. We won't make up a date before then.

How much will it cost?

Joining is free, and small collections stay free: up to 25 boxes in one humidor. The full catalogue will cost about £5 a month or £40 a year. We're testing that price now.

Which phones?

iPhone and Android, released on the same day with the same features. iPad if collectors ask for it.

Which cigars are covered?

At launch: Habanos regular production, plus Limited Editions, Regional Editions and other special releases from 2000 onwards. You can add any cigar from any country by hand, with the same ageing, value and notes features.

Is it only for Cuban cigars?

No. Anilla starts with Habanos because no other app handles them well, but it works for your whole collection.

Can I export my data? What about privacy?

Yes, as CSV or JSON at any time. Your catalogue is encrypted and backed up automatically, and we don't sell your data. For the waitlist we keep only your email and the answers you choose to give. Reply to any of our emails to be removed.

Do you sell cigars, or work with Habanos S.A. or any shop?

No. Anilla is a cataloguing tool. It doesn't sell or promote tobacco and isn't linked to or endorsed by Habanos S.A., any retailer or any auction house.

Five hundred collectors and we start building.
